Over the weekend, I received my first award in LA: the 2024 Culture Creators Media Award!
Angela Simmons was kind enough to present me with the award. Other amazing honorees included BET’s Connie Orlando, Stylists Wayman & Micah and Teyana Taylor!
For the occasion, I wore a custom bow dress by Ken White:
It’s a blessing to be acknowledged and celebrated! I have been on the grind here for almost 20 years! And while it’s natural to sometimes feel overlooked and undervalued, I got my flowers and life at the Culture Creators ceremony. Catch some of my speech here:
